Pins and Needles

One of the most common symptoms of peripheral neuropathy can be the sensation of tingling or pins and needles in the hands, feet and legs. This symptom quickly escalates into numbness, pain and loss of function unless treated. Our pain doctors can help return blood flow to the affected limbs through shockwave technology.

Numbness or Weakness

Nerve damage (peripheral neuropathy) can cause muscles around the nerves in your hands, legs or feet to waste away, resulting in weakness, numbness and loss of coordination. Restoring blood flow to the affected area is key to restoring proper sensation in the patient.

Burning Pain

Peripheral neuropathy's final stage results in burning sensation followed by complete numbness in the extremities as blood vessels and muscle atrophy. To avoid invasive surgery and even amputation, a comprehensive approach to our patients' peripheral neuropathy using acoustic wave technology is often required.

Peripheral neuropathy is chronic nerve damage, most commonly caused by chemotherapy, viral infection, carpal tunnel syndrome, alcohol abuse, diabetes or impaired blood flow to the extremities.

Unfortunately, no. As a degenerative disease, peripheral neuropathy can result in a vicious cycle of pain and degradation, as nerve damage results in poorer blood flow, which triggers further nerve damage.

Shock wave therapy is our preferred treatment method, as it is non-invasive and requires no general anesthesia.,

Ultrasonic acoustic waves are introduced to the body, vibrating at frequencies calibrated to target atrophied blood vessels. Regular treatments have been clinically shown to improve blood flow to the extremities, relieving neuropathy pain at its source.

Unfortunately we do not accept insurance, even though we have over 87% success rate we do not fit the guidelines as we do not use any drugs or injections. We are trying to break the mold of traditional medicine and work towards fixing the illness at the cause.
